  12. I've got a USR Sporster Vi internal modem and wondered if anybody has an
  13. answer to a problem I'm seeing.  When the FIFO buffer for the UART is
  14. enabled in Windows 95 the modem won't do binary transfers, ie. it won't
  15. load inline images in Netscape or download any ZIP files.  When I disable
  16. the FIFO buffer then everything works but I get serial overruns if I set
  17. the serial port rate above 57600 to 115Kbps.

  19. Also, does anybody know if this modem can be set up to distinguish between
  20. voice and data calls?  When I start Quicklink and leave it in host mode
  21. with the Call Manager running, the modem won't answer when you call.  It
  22. will answer if Quicklink is running by itself or Call Manager is running
  23. by itself.
